	Updates to the K145TMPro and K190TCLite softwares have been posted. A brief note has been added to the OpTips page about using the K190 as a temperature alarm system. A new note about enhancing the functionality of existing kits has been added in the writing software section. The cabling page has been updated with a comment about hooking up a capacitor at the temperature sensor.

	A donation link has been added to the website. An enhanced version of the K190 software is in testing. In the meantime, a K190 software feature comparison page has been put up. Added a page for the K190 standard software included with the kit. The K145/VK011 comparison page has been updated to include the new K190 board.

	New software: MinTermLite a simple terminal-like program for testing connections to serial hardware. Negative temperature display problem fixed in the K145TMLite software.

	Major update to the K145TMLite software. Added an "Acknowledgements" page. New article on cabling for 1-wire sensors. Revised linkage to the Articles and Resources pages. Kitsrus (DIY Electronics, Hong Kong) have announced the K190 Temperature Monitor and Controller kit. This unit provides 4 channels of pc-controlled temperature monitoring and relay control, using the same sensors as the K145. Availability at distributors is estimated to be January/09.

Updates to the VK011TMLite software. A K145 user has reported being able to run the K145 software in Wine. Both the K108 and K145 software have been successfully used in a Win2K guest in VirtualBox.   Branching out: you'll find a couple of VirtualBox helper utilities here.

Updates to: K145TMLite, K145Tester, and VK011Tester.  These programs now use the computer's local settings (configured under "Regional Options") to display data and dates and times.

Added a new test utility for the QKits VK011 Serial Temperature Sensor Interface.  Minor fixes to the K145 Temperature Monitor Lite software.  Some revisions to the K145 Test utility. Added more screenshots on the K108 Controller Pro page.

A new version of K145 Temperature Monitor Lite has been uploaded.  Added a new test utility for the K145. Information on the K108 Controller Pro software has been updated. Both the K108 and K145 software have been successfully tested on Windows Vista. A brief note about remote access has been posted in the Articles section.
